Archer Pays Tribute on 9/11

The Archer Street community —700 students and more than 100 staff members —gathered on the front lawn under the flagpole to honor the lives lost 14 years ago on Sept. 11.

After the presentation of the color guard and Pledge of Allegiance, students and staff proudly sang “America.” Principal Mrs. Paula Lein then had the flag lowered to half-mast and addressed the students and staff in a heart-rendering presentation. She then led everyone in a moment of silence followed by the song “I’m Proud to be an American”.
