Note: Demands on students in English 10 Honors are extreme during Quarter 4 as per upcoming Regents exams in social studies, math, science, and foreign language courses. This situation is given continual consideration, especially as the English 10 Honors course comes to an end. English Regents follows the 11th grade AP exam for students enrolled in this course who advance to English AP.

- Approach, develop, and complete quality expository and literature essays in line with the level 5 and 6 rubic criteria on the NYS English regents Sessions 1 and 2 Parts A and B.
- Advance to English 11AP with improved skills in all areas of reading, writing, listening, and speaking as per NYS standards for English Language Arts.
