The library media center has a flexible scheduling. Information skills are taught by the Library Media Specialists in context with the rest of the schools curricula. Thus, information skills are integrated into other class work and taught collaboratively by the library media specialist and the subject teacher. Joint planning is a major part of the process.

Please remember to inform the school and public library about any special projects/assignments or websites you would like the students to access. You can do this by sending a copy of the assignments to the library.

IMPORTANT NOTE:

    (Make sure you see the library specialists to schedule special meetings. You also have to clear the meeting with administration before you book the library.)

Consider yourself invited to use the library media center. All students and staff are welcome! Please considerate of the facility. FOOD AND DRINK ARE NOT PERMITTED! Chairs and tables should always be put back in their proper places. Inform students that they must have an I.D. card or class schedule in order to check out books or magazines.

    The library has a copy machine for limited use. Multiple copies should be made in the faculty lounge. The  transparency maker is in front of the library for your use. Please do not send students to use this machine!
