SUMMARY FOR WRITING A LIST OF WORKS CITED
Prepared by Mrs. C. Gilliam and Mrs. R. Heiman,

FHS Library Media Specialists

The List of Works Cited should appear at the end of your paper.  It is a list of the various sources that have been used to gather information for a research paper.  The sources are generally listed in alphabetical order according to the author's last name.  When a source does not have an author, it is listed by the first important word of its title, (Exclude A, An, and The).
