Stefani Plummer: A Leader Who Knows How To Motivate Her Peers and Produce Results

You won’t find many pictures of Freeport senior Stefani Plummer in the yearbook this year, but it’s not because she’s not deserving of the honor. In fact, if she weren’t taking the photos herself, Plummer could be a sort of poster child for the ideal high school student.

Bayview Students Show Off Their Mathematic Prowess

Second, third, and fourth grade students showed off their mathematic prowess at Bayview Avenue School’s June Math Bee.  After an in-class competition, five finalists from each second, third and fourth grade class competed and solved complex addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division problems.

FHS Coral Mural Restored

The incredible mural painted by John Green (class of 1993) in the music wing had severe water damage. I asked Melvin Green (class of 2007) if he was interested in restoring the mural.

Dodd Art Students Donate Handmade Placemats to Senior Community Center

Eighth-grade art students from Dodd Middle School have made the meals at a local senior center a little more special. They donated 50 laminated placemats, hand-painted and hand-stenciled with butterflies, flowers and swirls of pastel colors, to the Salvation Army Corps Community Center in Freeport.
