Here at the Caroline G. Atkinson School Media Center, our goal is educating students in the foundations of information literacy.  Using a hands-on approach, students are taught how to locate, evaluate, retrieve and utilize all forms of information.

Technology plays a key role in the education of the Atkinson student body and the media specialists act as facilitators of this technology.  Students are also encouraged to read for understanding, learning and pleasure.
