The halls of Archer Street School were recently filled
with excitement for the whole family. Over 100 families participated
in the school's Annual Math Family Night.
In the gym, parents viewed interactive math exhibits created by the
children and their teachers. The cafeteria was the scene for many students
engrossed in creating take-home math activities such as Math Ring Toss, Tangrams
and Edible Dominoes. The evening ended with students taking a chance
on the Estimation jars, visiting the Book fair and getting some juice
and cookies for the ride home. |
