FHS WINS THE L.I. CHALLENGE

FREEPORT WINS LONG ISLAND CHALLENGE COMPETITION!!!

On Sunday, June 12, the Freeport Long Island Challenge team (the Nassau County champions) beat the Walt Whitman team (the Suffolk County champions) to become the Long Island Challenge Championship Team.  This is the first time in Freeport's history that it has won this honor.

Congratulations to Marilyn Brendel, Daniel Okobi, Jr., Yan Mei Luo, Sarah Mahon and alternate Sarah Lopez, along with academic advisor Joseph Powers for helping the Freeport School District focus Island-wide attention on its truly outstanding academic programs and academic students!
