The   Freeport   Long   Island  Challenge  team  that  was  the first-place   winner   in   the   Newsday-Cablevision-sponsored academic  competition  on Channel 12 was honored July 25 at the Nassau   County   Legislature.   Legislators  representing  the Freeport  legislative  district presented the team with plaques commemorating  their  achievement.
