FHS WINS THE L.I. CHALLENGE

Dodd Musicians Perform at Hofstra

Congratulations to Kathleen Bentley, Patrick Mars, Colin Bedney, Zachary Nelson, Anthony Granito, and Isaiah Hicks for being chosen to participate in the Middle School Honors Band Festival.

The Festival, which took place Thursday, October 12th and Friday October 13th, consisted of Seventh Grade students from all over Long Island. The students performed with the Hofstra University Symphonic Band, rehearsing with world renowned composer and conductor Michael Sweeney and Peter Loel Boonshaft, Director of Bands at Hofstra University. All of their hard work culminated in an exciting and majestic performance on Friday evening at Hofstra University.
