FHS WINS THE L.I. CHALLENGE

Atkinson School hosted their annual 5th Grade Sports Night on Oct. 23.  Parents and children participated in a series of Relay Races which included: sneaker relay, speed jump rope, marble/spoon relay, three legged race, scooter relay, basketball balance, bowling pin set up and ping pong ball relay.

Approximately 50 students and their parents took part in this fun filled evening event which was sponsored by Atkinson PTA and organized by Physical Education Teachers Ms. Bivona and Mr. DeBonis. The Gymnasium was filled with enthusiastic participants who displayed an exuberance of ENERGY, TEAMWORK and SPORTSMANSHIP. As a reward all students who participated received a ribbon of participation.
