High School Seniors Anthony Coletta and Catherine Jewels received the
Outstanding Physical Education Award from the New York State Association
for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance — Nassau
Zone. Each year the award is presented to a male and a female graduating
senior who have demonstrated exceptional physical fitness, scholastic
ability and leadership. The students were honored during a recent ceremony
at the Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury. They were given a certificate
and a gift in recognition of their outstanding achievements.
