The students were identified by CTY as candidates to take the test because they performed at the highest level on other state tests. CTY assesses their academic talents and offers those who score a minimum of 500 (in math or verbal) an array of programs and services to nurture their intellectual abilities including a special summer camp.
Seventh-grader Elizabeth Mulé and eighth-grader Brea Baker both scored over 1,100. Eight-graders Kyle Dawson and Sayyid Abdullah scored over 1,000 and 11 other students scored in the 900-999 range. Congratulations to the top scorers, and to all the talented students who took the SAT.
