District Salutes 20-Year Employees

FREEPORT, N.Y., March 4, 2008
by Theresa Giusto/Felicia Febrizio
"Passion," "diligence" and "the magic touch" were just some of the words used to describe 19 dedicated employees recently honored for their 20 years of service to the district. Addressing the honorees during a school board meeting, Superintendent of Schools Dr. Eric Eversley said these words: "We have the opportunity to celebrate and to recognize some very special people. Each has rendered 20 years of service. This is no small accomplishment. It takes fortitude and a love for what you are doing…. Thank you very much. Tonight is your night."
