Mother's Day

Students at Archer Street Microsociety and Multimedia School in the Freeport School District recently participated in a Mother's Day Sale. For prices as low as $.25, students and staff had an opportunity to buy great handmade gifts for their mothers created by Archer Street students. Among some of the hottest items were picture frames and bookmarks. The event was rewarding for the sales people and the customers, with the students who sold the gifts getting real-life experience in handling and dealing with money, and customers buying a one-of-a-kind gift from the heart for their mothers.
