Archer Street Elementary’s Career Day
Archer Street Elementary School students explored a wide range of professions and interacted with local professionals during the school’s annual Career Day on March 7. The event, which encourages students to think about their future career aspirations, included interactive presentations, activities and in-depth conversations with experts across various fields.

“Career Day is a special opportunity for our students to see the many possibilities that lie ahead of them,” said Principal Manouchka Daniel. “We want to empower our students to dream big and understand that their future is filled with endless potential.”

Throughout the day, professionals from industries including healthcare, law enforcement, technology, education and the arts shared their career journeys and experiences. Students participated in question and answer sessions, interactive demonstrations and gained insight into the requirements of different occupations.

Community members such as firefighters, nurses and business owners also engaged students with real-world examples of their work, sparking excitement and curiosity.

“The enthusiasm from our students was incredible,” said Elizabeth Biscotti, Archer Street social worker and Career Day coordinator. “Seeing the students learn about different careers is so rewarding. We are grateful to the professionals who took the time to invest in our students' futures.”

Archer Street Elementary School thanks all the Career Day participants for their time and for helping to make the day a success.
