Freeport Public Schools celebrated its annual 20 Years of Service recognition at Caroline G. Atkinson Intermediate School during a board of education meeting last month. The event was attended by Superintendent of Schools Dr. Fia P. Davis, board of education members, administrators, staff, family, friends and community members, all gathered to honor 20 dedicated employees for their two decades of service.
“Tonight, we honor our Freeport Public Schools faculty and staff members who have been here for 20 years,” said Dr. Davis. “Thank you for choosing Freeport, for choosing to pour out your heart, your hard work, your love and your lives for the last 20 years. That is a long time to serve and a long time to support a community and we are grateful for you.”
As building principals highlighted the honorees’ accomplishments and dedication, each was presented with a commemorative plaque, a pin and tokens of appreciation to mark the occasion.
It was a heartfelt and memorable evening, recognizing the honorees for their commitment to Freeport’s students. The board of education and administration extend their congratulations and gratitude for 20 years of exceptional service.
