Delayed Opening Procedure
Notifications of such delays will be announced via the Connect Ed. emergency phone notification system, the District website
(www.freeportschools.org), and radio and television stations. These procedures outline specific bus times and school starting times for each of our respective schools. In addition, we have provided specific information relative to students who attend programs outside of our public schools.
Please ensure that you review these procedures carefully and contact your child’s principal if you have any further questions. Please note that the option of a delayed opening will be chosen only when weather or road conditions do not warrant a full-day closing but are expected to improve early enough to allow schools to safely open later.
