Students in Freeport High School’s Clinical Medical Assistant Program are getting practical experience while learning about different pathways into the medical field.
Last school year, 100% of students in the program passed the certification exam.
This year, Ms. Paduano was also awarded a grant to purchase a blood analyzer for the program. Only four recipients are selected each year.
Students have been engaged, focused and excited to be part of the program as they continue building their skills and exploring future opportunities in healthcare.
