Dear Freeport Family,

As we close the 2025-2026 school year and begin the summer break, I want to take a moment to express my sincere gratitude for your dedication, resilience, and unwavering commitment to our students. Although my time as your Interim Superintendent has been relatively brief, I have had the privilege of visiting our schools and classrooms, meeting many of you, and engaging with the wonderful students of the Freeport Public Schools community.

This year has brought its share of changes and opportunities, and you have remained focused on what matters most: our students. Whether you serve in the classroom, provide support services, maintain our facilities, transport our children, prepare meals, work in our offices, or support the district in countless other ways, your contributions have made a meaningful difference. Thank you for all that you do.

Summer is a well-deserved opportunity for resting, recharging, and spending quality time with family and friends. I encourage you to take this time to invest in yourself and reflect on your accomplishments. Education is demanding work, and caring for your own well-being is essential to continuing to serve our students at the highest level. Make sure to do just that. Take care of yourselves during this time.

As we look toward the new school year, I am optimistic about what we can accomplish together. By continuing to work collaboratively, embracing innovation, and keeping students at the center of every decision, we will continue building a stronger future for the children of Freeport.

Thank you for your professionalism, your perseverance, and your commitment to excellence. It is an honor to serve alongside you. I wish you and your loved ones a safe, restful, and joyful summer.

Leading Through Connection

Leadership extends beyond the walls of a school building. Through ongoing collaboration with students, educators, families, and community stakeholders, our Superintendent works to cultivate a shared vision for excellence, ensuring that every voice is valued and every partnership contributes to the success of our district.

Freeport Public Schools painted the town orange and blue! ๐Ÿงก๐Ÿ’™ Our schools came together to celebrate New York pride and cheer on the New York Knicks as NBA Champions! Beyond the excitement of a championship victory, this moment reminds us of the values we strive to instill in our students every day—resilience, perseverance, teamwork, dedication, and the belief that dreams can become reality through hard work. As a community, we celebrate not only history in the making but also the powerful lessons that inspire our students to reach for their goals and never give up. Congratulations, Knicks!
