Dear Freeport Families, Staff, Students, and Community Members:
Freeport Public Schools is committed to preparing our students for college, careers and life post high school. We are excited to partner with all stakeholders in our community in creating “A Portrait of a Freeport Graduate” that will become part of the district’s K-12 college and career-ready road map. School districts nationwide are creating these “Portraits” that focus on the key 21st century skills students need to succeed in college, career, and life.
Please join us virtually on Monday, February 13th at 6:30 PM as we kick off this work. We are excited to be partnering with Molloy University as we embark on this project. At the meeting on February 13th, you will meet our Molloy University partners, get an introduction to the project and how you can be involved. At this meeting we will also be launching ThoughtExchange which is a unique two-way process that allows participants to naturally collaborate and share ideas in a confidential and thoughtful manner. ThoughtExchange is a digital platform that may be accessed from any digital device.
