Freeport Public Schools Celebrates Staff for 20 Years of Service

Freeport Public School’s annual 20 years of service recognition was held on Feb. 7 at Caroline G. Atkinson Intermediate School during the district’s Board of Education meeting. Superintendent of Schools Dr. Kishore Kuncham, Board of Education members, administrators, staff, family, friends and community members were thrilled to join in recognizing the 26 dedicated district employees. 

“It is with profound gratitude and deep appreciation that we honor and celebrate you for having dedicated two decades of your lives to the betterment of our school district, our students and our Freeport school community,” said Dr. Kishore Kuncham. “Twenty years of service is not merely a milestone. It is a testament to the unwavering dedication, tireless commitment and boundless passion that you have brought every day for the last 20 years and for many more to come.” 

As the building principals spoke about the various achievements and dedication of the honorees, they were each presented with a commemorative plaque and flowers to mark the milestone.  

The memorable and meaningful evening gave well-deserved recognition and praise to staff for their years of service to Freeport’s students. The Board of Education and administration congratulate the 26 honorees for their 20 years of service.
